Brownies

Brownies are aged between 7 and 10 years.

Brownies work together in small groups known as sixes with each six given a different name. Each Brownie wears a special badge telling others which six she belongs to. Each six has a leader called a Sixer and a deputy called a Seconder.

The Brownie promise is:

I promise that I will do my best:
To love my God,
To serve the Queen and my country,
To help other people and
To keep the Brownie Guide Law

Once you make your Promise you can really get started on your Brownie Adventure. It is packed with exciting activities and challenges.

Brownies can also work on interest badges, either individually or as part of a group.

Some Brownies get the opportunity to attend a pack holiday where the pack goes away for a weekend or longer and Brownies learn to live, work and play together.

When Brownies are 10 they can join a Guide Company.
